Yes/No. • recognize the sounds of phonemes and blends. Glad to see you. How are you? What is the day today? What the weather like today? WARM UP ACTIVITY 1. Call the number: Teacher allows the children to walk, run or skip around the hall. The teacher calls a number for example, four. The children must form groups of four. Continue the game calling different numbers each time. Teacher may ask them to perform a balance or to perform a stretch after each whistle 2. Teacher demonstrates and drills parts of the bus: wheel, window, door using a picture of a bus. 2. Learners listen, repeat and perform gestures. 3. Teacher demonstrates what learners have to do with the given words. Teacher then writes the words on the board, learners should recognize the sounds of phonemes, then rewrite these words in their worksheets. BREAK Learners sing a song. When they hear parts of the bus they make gestures and move to demonstrate whale, door, and window. PAIRWORKING Pupils play a game in pairs. One pupil draws three parts of the bus. Another pupil should guess his friend’s things. Horn. – Is it a bus? No! Wheel. - Is it a wheel? Yes! ASSESSMENT Learners listen the words of parts of the bus and match the words to the pictures Picture of a bus.
