I. Organization moment
- Good –afternoon, pupils!
- Good –afternoon, Teacher!
- Sit down!
- Who is on duty today?
- We are on duty today
- Who is absent?
- All are present
- What date is it today?
- Sit down, please. Good
Pupils, you have a self- assessment cards, you should make yourselves.
II. Revision of the previous unit.
Pupils, what was our unit? Do you remember? Yes, right. It was Health! Now, look at the pictures. There are some children with different aches, give them some advices, using the modal verb “should’.
III. New theme (types of transport)
Now, we know what to make when we had some aches. We are fit now!!! When we are in good health, we have to go to school. We must do it. Why we are going , to get to school? Yes, that’s right. To know everything, to get knowledge at first. Our new unit is about travelling. Open your copybooks and books, write down the date of today and the theme “How do you get to school”
Who tells me what we need for travelling ? Yes, transport.
Look at the blackboard, what do you see?
- Types of transports, name them!
- A helicopter, a car, a taxi, a ship, a boat, a motorbike, a plane, a train, a bus….
(pupils name them, than repeat, after match the words with pictures)
Now, pupils there many transports in it, yes. We have 2 types of transport, isn’t? They are consists of Public and Private.

Public

Public transports are: cars, buses, plane, train, a ship, a helicopter, a boat, lorries, a tram, metro or underground.
Private
Private transports are: cars, motorbikes, bicycle, taxi and buses.

Answer the questions!
- How do you get to Astana? (by plane or train) ( explain using of preposition “by”)
- How do you get to Aktau? (by bus, by taxi)
- How do you get to school ?
- How do you get to foreign countries(by plane, by ship, by train)
- How do you get to school?
- As for me, We usually get to school on foot or walking, sometimes by own private fathers and mothers cars, but never plane or train!!!
- Who lives to school by car?
- I listen pupils answer.
- Pupils answer the question: “How do you get to school”
IV. To explain adverbs of frequency
Now open your books at page121, Ex.4. Listen to me very attentively, than you’ll repeat after me!
Never always often usually nearly
Almost really rarely ever just
3. We can use Sometimes and usually in the beginning or in the ending of the sentence.
Sometimes I play tennis. ---------------- I play tennis sometimes.
Usually he goes to school by bus. ------ He goes to school by bus usually.
If you understood this, do this task:
Exercise5. Pg.124. Open your copy-book and write this Ex.
I have just come from school.
He rarely eats chocolates
Oops! I nearly fell over!
I can always understand him.
The teacher never comes late
I really missed my mother.
V. Conclusion ( to make a test)
Now, pupils let’s do this test. Today I explained you adverbs of frequency and types of transport. I hope you understood that. So I want to check up your knowledge about the new theme.

Now, are you finished. Good. That’s all.
Then , make the word from bold letters; “School”!!!
Now give me some more association to “School”. And make the sentence using adverbs of frequency for this word.
Books, classrooms, friends, computers, English, teacher:
I usually read interesting books.
Sometimes I play computer.
I always listen to my teacher.
I always read English books.
I often go to the cinema with my friends.
Sometimes we clean our classrooms.
Now, I show you video about “ How do you get to school?” Pupil’s are watching it with interest. I ask some questions. What did children do? Where did they go with any transport? Pupil’s answering my questions.
Ex.9 pg.125. Let’s I read the text’ Hitch-hiking dangerous or safe?
Listen to me very attentively. We are reading and translating the text with pupils.

Ok, that’s right pupils! Thank you! You were brilliant today!!! You are very activity today!!! Now Let’s pick up your self-making cards, I’ll count your point, and get you your marks.
If we have any time, we can play the game “to find the English sentence”. This game is connected with mathematics.
